Your Tasks:

In the midst of our IT restructuring, we are looking for you as a committed and experienced manager for the position of Senior Manager (m/f/d) IT Core Applications & Projects. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up a new unit comprising the existing Application Development and PMO departments as well as the newly created “New Core Systems” Competence Center. Your central challenge will be to renew the core application landscape of Toyota Kreditbank.

  • Planning, setting up, managing and continuously developing the new IT Core Applications & Projects division
  • Management and development of a team of 18 colleagues
  • Collaboration in the further development and implementation of the IT strategy as well as operational control via the defined KPIs
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate compliance, regulatory and legal requirements 
  • Ensuring the IT application development of the internal core banking system
  • Administration of the project portfolio including budget planning and ensuring the successful implementation of projects
  • Further development of the agile product development domains

Your Profile:

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable technical/economic degree program with many years of professional experience in the IT sector
  • At least 5 years of professional experience as a manager in the IT sector, ideally within the financial services environment, with a focus on IT projects and/or application development
  • Sound knowledge of project management, comprehensive budget responsibility and strong negotiation skills
  • Experience in the selection and implementation of core applications in the environment of captives, credit banks or leasing companies
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English
  • Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Identification with the company and its goals, strong assertiveness and strong goal orientation
  • High social competence and strong communication skills
  • Innovative spirit, creativity and excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
