Manager (m/f/d) Regional Compliance
Your Tasks:
- Establishing and maintaining a compliance management system with the components of compliance culture in the Europe & Africa Region (EAR), organization, risk analysis, procedures for compliance with the legal regulations that are important for the banking group, reporting and process-independent control measures.
- Ensuring compliance roles and responsibilities within the EAR and ensuring adherence to compliance requirements.
- Managing governance and reviewing new products, including the creation of governance questionnaires, reporting and surveys.
- Ensuring and maintaining an antitrust compliance program in the SFCs in EAR with the aim of reducing the risk of antitrust violations.
- Provide and communicate guidelines for the business continuity plan and incident assessment (interface function as communicator between stakeholders in the areas of compliance, data protection and antitrust compliance).
- Manage the implementation of the EAR Global Vendor Management Policy and guidelines and tools to implement the relevant process.
- Actively participate in TFSC related functional committees, management of reporting, surveys, including CSRD reporting.
- Provide analysis of whistleblowing cases and audit findings
- Ensure proper communication, utilization and enforcement of the Toyota Code of Conduct.
- Coordinating and working towards the implementation of TFSC compliance requirements (e.g. corporate governance, SOA, whistleblowing, etc.) including participation and representation in the shareholder's Global Compliance Functional Committee.
- Ensuring the implementation of shareholder requirements (Sarbanes Oxley Act) with the aim of proper financial reporting
Your Profile:
- Successfully completed studies in Law, Business Administration or a comparable field of study or apprenticeship
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the legal, compliance or auditing department of a bank or in an auditing firm
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position at a manufacturing bank is desirable
- Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory, company law and other legal requirements
- Detailed knowledge of the organizational and operational structure of a manufacturing bank including compliance and risk management
- Confident and assertive appearance
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking paired with a quick perceptive ability
- Fluency in both written and spoken English language
