Your Tasks:

  • Establishment of the new TKG IT Competence Center New Core Applications division in accordance with the strategic guidelines in coordination with the line manager with the aim of sustainably renewing and continuously developing TKG's application landscape
  • Conception, planning and implementation of the renewal of the core application landscape with a focus on the selection of the new core banking system, taking into account the company's specifications, the requirements of the specialist departments and the regulatory requirements
  • Selecting and implementing the introduction of other software systems required for the core application landscape, such as a customer relationship management (CRM) system, with the aim of ensuring the most automated and digitalized process coverage possible
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate compliance, regulatory and legal requirements, taking into account internal Group requirements such as the Global IT Security Group and external requirements such as DORA, BAIT and KWG
  • Definition, implementation and subsequent maintenance of the required interfaces between the core banking system and the other applications in the core banking SW landscape with the aim of ensuring cost-effective and efficient operation
  • Managing and controlling the projects for the introduction of the new systems. Ensuring that the respective project objectives are achieved in terms of quality, on time and within budget.
  • Ensuring the future maintenance and change processes for the new system landscape in order to map the future requirements of the specialist departments for the software systems
  • Ensure appropriate management of the vendors of the new systems in coordination with the purchasing and compliance departments in order to meet all regulatory requirements and achieve cost efficiency
  • Manage, motivate and develop subordinates within the framework of the company's management principles. Participate in the decision on individual personnel measures (e.g. hiring, promotion, salaries) together with the line manager.
  • Budget responsibility: Planning, drawing up and monitoring the department budget with the aim of achieving the annual budget targets set by the management and adhering to the approved budget.

Your Profile:

 

  • A successfully completed degree in computer science/business informatics or a comparable technical/business degree with relevant professional experience in the IT sector
  • Sound experience as a manager in the IT area and in the financial services environment with a focus on IT projects and the selection and implementation of core banking systems
  • Expertise in the selection of core applications in the environment of captives, credit banks or leasing companies
  • Experience in dealing with budget responsibility and project management
  • High degree of assertiveness and negotiating skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills 
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
