Your Tasks:

  • Collaboration in setting up the new Operational IT Security department in accordance with the strategic guidelines in coordination with the line manager
  • Ensuring IT security through independent definition, documentation and ongoing subsequent optimization of processes
  • Implementing internal and external IT security requirements, e.g. requirements from DORA or controls from global IT security groups
  • Implementation of IT security measures in day-to-day business, e.g. timely patching of vulnerabilities and processing of reports
  • Ensuring the configuration of key processes and tools required for IT security, e.g. password management and security guidelines
  • Collaboration in the development and ongoing development of business continuity, disaster recovery and security incident response plans, e.g. by carrying out business impact analysis
  • Collaboration and assumption of sub-project management responsibility in the implementation of the “Improvement IT Security” project
  • Regular monitoring and implementation of annual audits/tests with the aim of documenting compliance with the applicable security standards and initiating countermeasures in the event of deviations
  • Implementing and updating information security guidelines in accordance with global standards
  • Coordination of all audit-related activities, e.g. external reviews or audits, including coordination of the scope of the audit, findings and necessary measures

Your Profile:

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable technical/economic field of study
  • Several years of experience in IT security, ideally in a financial services environment
  • Sound knowledge of IT security standards, processes and tools
  • Experience in vulnerability management and IT security projects
  • Fluency in German and English (at least C1 in each case)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Continuous goal orientation 
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills
