Your Tasks:

 

  • Network administration of the active components of Toyota Kreditbank with the aim of ensuring maximum availability of the IT infrastructure
  • Administration of the virtual server environment (VMWare products), the VDI environment (Nutanix products), the monitoring system (CHECK-MK) and the storage network
  • Coordination and control of external service providers
  • Management of data backup and recovery of server systems (CommVault)
  • Management of projects for conversion and expansion measures in the areas of network infrastructure, virtualization, storage, backup, monitoring and network security
  • Installation of new physical or virtual server systems (operating system, management) and connection to the company network in coordination with the IT Operations Infrastructure Manager, taking internal guidelines into account
  • Creating and updating the network documentation, taking into account audit and regulatory requirements

Your Profile:

 

  • Completed university degree with a focus on IT or IT specialist training
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position and in the implementation of IT projects
  • Extensive knowledge in the operation of network and system components (routers, switches, firewalls), routing, QoS, security, VLANs, network management and network topology
  • Experience with Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments, backup products and current technologies for monitoring, reporting and troubleshooting
  • Conceptual and structured work, analytical thinking
  • Initiative and sense of responsibility
  • Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills
