Your Tasks:

 

  • Supporting the relevant specialist departments in all legal matters (including receivables management, legal advice on procedures with customers or dealers, marketing and advertising campaigns, contract negotiations and new product launches)
  • Drafting and reviewing external contracts and intra-group contractual partners, in particular leasing and other transfer of use contracts, consumer contracts, service contracts, IP/IT contracts, financing and refinancing contracts
  • Monitoring legal developments (Germany and EU) with regard to new rulings, laws and proposed legislation and, based on this, developing recommendations for action, changes to standard contracts or forms and process adjustments
  • Early identification of legal risks and legal support for the operating business as well as the development of recommendations for the design and implementation of corrective measures for the affected areas
  • Ensuring that the process flows in the handling of operational business and the contractual documentation comply with all legal and internal requirements
  • Coordinating and cooperating with lawyers and notaries as well as monitoring pending legal disputes and their progress

Your Profile:

 

  • Successfully completed law studies and legal traineeship (2nd state examination) or a comparable training
  • First professional experience, ideally in a company in the automotive financing/leasing business, at a bank/FinTech or in a broad-based commercial law firm
  • Very good knowledge of one or more of the following areas of law: Contract law (including GTC law), consumer law, corporate law, IT law, competition law and insolvency law
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • High willingness to familiarize yourself with new tasks and to take ownership of these 
  • Good knowledge of legal theory 
  • An analytical way of thinking and the ability to present complex issues in a clear manner
  • A high degree of flexibility to work on legal tasks from a wide range of work areas simultaneously
  • Fluency in both written and spoken German and English
